Greetings all!!
I believe it has been enough for news blogs today. As it is news are the best source of depression and remorse these days. I can hardly remember when was it the last time a really good news was reported for the masses apart from occasional entertainment glimpses on celebrities and their dogs and rabbits etc.
I would like to share an encounter I had with a lady today. Events at the university never really ends, and they always need volunteers to accomplish proper execution of the event. This time, I decided to volunteer to gain some experience regarding event management and coordination. It was during the rehearsals today that I met a fine lady specially designed to knock people into their senses. The crowd of volunteers thinned around her as time passed and slowly, her bossy controlling attitude also did so. The lady (not named for anonymity) slowly unrolled herself and her life with me and by best mates at the university when we decided to stay just a while longer with her (ACTUAL REASON: it was sweltering hot outside and it was due to her we were sitting in an air conditioned room! Who would want to leave such a place!). Surprisingly, she felt no awkwardness telling us about her family members and their short tales as though we knew all of them in person. She used names as though we should have known them by default. She narrated as though nothing was personal. She talked with extreme confidence of a clean conscience. She talked about how her family supported her socialization and how she coped with it. She narrated how her cousin fell prey to bad choice and how her father has been taking care of children beside his own. Her life was interesting, her stories were good. Yet I believe one should not unroll themselves so easily and so deeply in front of others. One should be carefully assessing each word they say because someday, these same words can go against themselves! People here are especially masters of manipulating meanings behind what anyone says, and in an environment like this, I really salute that remarkable lady for being so down right blatant! This clearly is a sure sign of an unstained conscience! That concludes my experience.
Peace.
