Greetings!!
I recently watched a Bollywood movie by the name of “C Kkompany”. It shows how an innocent civilian, along with two other oppressed men, become most-feared underworld members – by some funny mistakes and a lot of misunderstanding on behalf of the general public. However, appreciably, these underworld members actually help the oppressed needy people who approach them with their problems that seem unsolvable, purely through their “phone” earned power and reputation. Apart from the abysmal bollywood romantic drama integrated in the movie, it is a thought provoking movie.
Looking at this movie, however, makes me wonder what the motive behind its making was. It makes people wish for such mafias swarming the cities, exercising the positive side of their powers from the underworld. It makes people pray for such “messiahs” who would come and save the day for the weakest. If we just halt for a minute, we are actually praying for a bunch of law-breakers to rescue the oppressed. Is it really the right way?
I believe if “law” and “legal” oppresses the people and deprives them of their rights and justice, then it is inevitable that the “law-breakers” and “illegal” will be approached for help. Though evidently, it means approaching negative energy for a positive work, it also implies the structured systems of governance and justice are the real mafias.. Food for Thought: Life goes on. People need Justice. If they don’t get it the right way, then which way is left?
Peace.
