Greetings!!
With the advent of ready-to-cook eatables and frozen quick foods, when was the last time we consumed a purely "fresh" dish with absolutely no preservatives added? I believe the present generation has never had this fine opportunity except those who have been to villages sometime. From frozen meat products to pasteurized milk, from frozen vegetables to packeted spices and tinned items - everything has considerable amount of preservative added to prevent it from spoilage. Though it has given women a great opportunity to ease their kitchen load and to indulge in their preferred activities, it has nevertheless deprived youngsters from the nutrition of the "fresh" products and made us artificial in all aspects. The decrease in youth's energy and the presence of unheard illnesses have significant links to it, though it is highly debatable.
