Political Scuffle in Pakistan

Greetings to all my readers (just fulfilling a prerequisite,, i know i don't have much of a fan base here!)


Yesterday i came across a funny clip on Geo TV Network. Searched a lot but unfortunately it is not available yet on YouTube.


The video clip depicted two of our political parties - MQM and PPPP - at dagger ends again over matters concerning how this country is to be ruled. MQM has withdrawn from coalition with PPPP like it did a while ago, almost like an unsteady marriage on the brink of breakage. But back then, talks had proved to be fruitful enough to gain back MQM's support in favor of PPPP government - the marriage saved.


This time however, the real joke worth mentioning here, is that the government officials, instead of resorting to talks with MQM to eliminate the gaps, are now resorting to PRAYERS to get back their support. Not only PRAYERS, but PRAYERS in the most Sacred Place for us Muslims - In Khana-e-Kaaba!


In my view, these politicians have left no space for anyone else to ridicule Islam like they have done. Resorting to prayers to gain cooperation in corruption is the last thing our hyperactive non-Muslim masses need to exaggerate - and the corruption is no longer a hidden story demanding secrecy! Our religion, our actual identity has become nothing less than the joke of the decade after this act of our very honorable politicians! But Alas - they are too busy in worldly issues to realize what they are actually doing to our identity - the very reason we disintegrated from Hindustan!


But somehow, somewhere, a devil inside me says that these respectable (Note: Negative Command) people have bigger intentions behind visiting the Sacred Place besides praying for government coalition. No,, their intentions cannot remain so noble. It struck me then why Muslims like myself and anyone else would resort to evil deeds fully aware about their destiny and death.


It definitely has to be the huge space granted for seeking "Forgiveness" by our Creator! Do whatever you feel like for the 5years of power that you enjoy, and when you descend from the throne, make a quick trip to Saudi Arabia and seek forgiveness for all injustice and corruption you in fact enjoyed while in power... And you keep convincing yourself that you are spotless now, changed and clean. Though given another chance, you would most probably end up repeating the regime..! In front of this, however, the aforesaid idiocy seems minute!


Though they can clean themselves of the violation of rights they did in their relationship with the Almighty, they can never account for the violation they did to the 18crore masses they ruled with tyranny and brutality! They think they are clean, and they continuously elude themselves to believe so.. But sadly, that ain't the case! They are still brightly stained with their deeds they believe have been washed away.


That concludes my thoughts.
