Greetings all!
This is in reference to a dawn news titled, "Cat loses her way to the US"
LINK: http://www.dawn.com/2011/07/07/cat-loses-her-way-to-the-us.html
The content of this news narrates how a cat escaped from her prison cage and is now currently an undercover US spy at the Benazir Bhutto Airport, Rawalpindi. The owner resides in the US worried about her cat, named against its nature (Birdie) and ready to reward anyone who has any information about here beloved cat and its whereabouts. Birdie also has a tracker integrated on itself - the owner undoubtedly knew about her cat's runaway nature! What worries the airport officials is that once upon a time during Eid-ul-Azha (Islamic event regarding sacrifice of animals), the same airport had become a refuge to a runaway cow and it had taken the officials 2 days to discover where the cow had nested. Since the cat is 7 times smaller than the cow, it will most probably take 7 times longer time to find Birdie, if at all! What I really want to know is since when has the AIRPORT become a refugee camp for fugitive ANIMALS?! Where was the airport SECURITY? What are the security CAMERAS for? And above all, how are the officials going to recover the lost damsel in distress?
Since the reward is attractive, what is taking the airport officials so long in producing a look alike of Birdie?
Peace.
