This is in reference to the news headed, "Heavy rain lashes Lahore"

It apparently has been raining heavily in Lahore. It soothes the mind to think blessings are not non-existent in such a state of terror and chaos where violation is the rule of everyday. It means the doors of repentance have not been banged shut on our sorry faces who continue to do wrong everyday without even a slight remorse. It means there is still hope for betterment and things reversing back into peace and sovereignty. It means there are chances the wars will end and the chaos will be solved. Hope has not left - and it keeps us alive today.
However, as an excess of everything is bad, heavy rains can also prove to be a disaster instead of a blessing. As it is, 18 villages have been declared prone to floods for the current monsoon seasonal showers.

It need not be reminded what national damage last year's floods had brought about. And if it happens again, it freaks me to think how further will we be indebted to other more stable countries, knowing our government will not leave any opportunity to ask countries for monetary help.
